In 2015, one of the players who had graduated from Persib Bandung, Aditya had to accept the harsh reality. Yes, that was the beginning of Aditya's career as a general professional footballer. The reason is, in that year, Aditya's leg was badly injured while preparing for an inter-campus football tournament.
He told that in a trial match, his leg was tackled by a goalkeeper. Unfortunately, the goalkeeper tackled his right leg and broke Aditya's leg. Aditya really regrets the incident. He also admitted that he made a mistake for first aid after receiving the tackle.
Instead of going straight to the doctor for surgery, Aditya opted for traditional medicine. The reason he took that step was because he was constrained by operating costs if he was taken to the doctor. Long story short, Aditya's leg had to be amputated. Having given up hope, he also felt hopeful about joining the Amputee Football Association (INAF). From there he started playing football using a stick.
Currently, Aditya is also working as an Indonesian amputee footballer. He is often trusted to defend the Indonesian national team competing in a number of international tournaments. He also helped the Indonesian Amputee Football Team compete in the 2022 Amputee World Cup.
The thing that we can imitate from him is a high sense of enthusiasm and fighting power. even though he has a disability, that doesn't stop him as an athlete
